Seeking Publisher - Here we go again

I've registered with Lulu and like what I'm reading and what their live chatty person said. I think having an ebook available for download has to be worthy of serious consideration here. Thanks for the recommendation.

You may know the answer to this question - I've just got my ebook rights back from a certain publisher that you and I were published by previously, could I publish that book in e-format with Lulu?

Just one more question - does the page format have to conform to any particular size. I have the .pdf file that was supplied to me, and of course, the artwork for the front cover.

You may want to take a look at Createspace. I've heard they give you an ISBN number, (I don't know for sure) and with Lulu you have to purchase it. (I think)

Createspace is also free, and if it's true about the ISBN, then you may be better off going that route.

Hi Don, I'll check into it. The book already has two ISBN numbers (hardback and softback) and didn't think about needing another one for an ebook. Good point!

My book already has an ISBN too. I was under the impression you could use the same one, but I might be mistaken.

If you have an ISBN, you don't need another one.

Thanks for the info about Createspace Don. I checked them out last October and they were only accepting American authors. I asked if they were going to extend that and they said that they did intend to offer the service outside the US but, as far as I know, they haven't done yet.

I've just checked with Lulu. You don't require an ISBN to publish an e-book, which is good news.
You only require one if they publish your book in paperback format.

What is the going rate for pricing ebooks? Never bought one! Lulu add on 25%, so if you charge £4.00 it will cost you £5.00 to download it. Not sure how much to ask here. Suggestions please!
