I've been asked to do a podcast interview.

I've never heard of this before. Does anyone know what it is and how it works?

Many thanks,
Karina

Yes, podcasts can be great. I regularly listen to Stan Relihan's The Connections Show. He interviews folks either by telephone, skype or some other media, edits and cleans up the interview and then produces his podcasts. You can listen to one or two of his latest podcasts which would give you a good feel for what's involved:

Great. That makes sense. Many thanks for the link.

Unfortunately, I can't stand the sound of a recording of my voice. But I'm looking forward to the interview. It should be fun.

I think we all mostly feel the same way about our voices! However, not all podcasts are as professional as Stan's so try to listen to it before they release it to make sure you're happy with their sound engineering!

The best thing to do when you are interviewed for a podcast is be yourself. The more genuine you are the more the listeners will enjoy you.

It went really well. I enjoyed it, but we just didn't have enough time to talk about everything. I think there may be a part two. lol

It's available on Itunes as well.
