How do I insert a photo into a post

I wanted to put into a post a colored pencil drawing that Julie Larose has done of Wooffer and Sara and Jazzmin. It is so lovely.

How do I do that?

It has to be on the web somewhere to be linked to...such as in a image folder on wooffer.com Then you can remote link to the image's address (e.g. www.wooffer.com/images/pencil.jpg)

Paste that address into the reply box, highlight it, then hit the "Image" button to the right. Be sure there is a /img tag after the address.

If you click on the servimg icon top right of the reply box:

you can upload the photo and paste the code into your post. You may have to click on

to change editor mode to see the servimg icon.

Shelagh, I tried downloading the image to my computer and then uploading to the servimg but it would not take for some reason.

Did you register with servimg? You need to before you can upload photos.

It's 4 kb. Is that larger than mb? I can never remember which is larger.

1 byte = 8 bits
1 kilobyte = 1024 bytes
1 megabyte = 1000 kilobytes
1 gigabyte = 1000 megabytes
1 terabyte = 1000 gigabytes

A bit is represented by either a one or a zero. A byte is the amount of space needed to store a single character of text. A kilobyte is enough to hold about 175 words of text. A magabyte is enough to store a large novel (175,000 words).
