PostSubject: Elysabeth Eldering's first state story and appearances 2008   Sat Jun 21, 2008 4:39 pm

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that my first state story, State of Wilderess, is available for preorders on my publisher' website - www.4rvpublishingllc.com. If you click on the cover or go to books or store you will see ordering information there.

The book should come out August 1 and I'm so excited about it. I have the following appearances or places I will be for the rest of the year with book in hand:

August 30-31 - Decatur (Georgia) Book Festival (http://www.decaturbookfestival.com/2008/index.php) - 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 12 noon to 6 p.m. Sunday

4RV will have a booth and all books released this year will be available for purchase. I will have some state related activities going on during the weekend to promote my geography mystery trivia series books. If you happen to be in the area and like quaint little towns and book festivals, stop by and see what's available - seems to be something for everyone at this particular book festival.

September 6 - Back to School Presentation/Book Signing
The Open Book (www.theopenbookonline.com) Greenville, SC - 3 pm to 5 pm --

I will be doing activities and readings and book signings to kick off the school year and get those kids back in to learning about some state geography/history lessons - lol. If you are in the area, stop by and see what we will be doing. -

September 20 - Aiken Children's Book Festival (http://www.aikenbookfestival.org/) - 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This book festival will feature all children's book authors for the day. Come see me there if you are in the area. Will probably do some mini activities throughout the day to keep the booth lively -

October 24-26 - SCWW Writer's Conference - Hilton Hotel, Myrtle Beach, SC (http://www.myscww.org/conference/index.php)

Will have my book available in the SCWW Book Nook - our version of a book store featuring members' published works for sale. I might be able to do some book signing time during the conference but as a volunteer for the whole weekend, I will be running around a lot. I think there is one time when authors who are selling books in the Book Nook will have an opportunity to do book signings but if not, I'll try to have some autographed books available and if I am around will personalize the books for anyone who purchases a copy -

(Tentatively for 2009 - SC Book Festival - February 28-March 1 - not sure if I will be an author or just have a booth here yet - we have to submit info to the committee but have to have a published book in hand to do so - until then, just have to say tentatively - I will be here one way or other - just not sure if will be on panels or doing workshops or just in a booth; more details as they develop for this one)

Hope some of you stop by and see us where we are available. See you all in the posting - E Smile

Hi Elysabeth:
Thanks for introducing me to a new publisher. I did not know of them until I read your post. I searched their site for themes of their books, but did not find anyhing identifiable. The mix of titles, subjects and genre appears to be quite eclectic. How did you find them, or vice-versa?

You'll be a busy woman, Elysabeth. What's the story behind the unusual spelling of your name?
