I was looking for the instructions to dance The Hustle.
There is a dance scene with the hustle in one of my romance novels ...

Anyway, I came across this. As my son is a correctional officer, I found this whole story fascinating.

Check it out.

Talk about the power of artistic expression.

That's quite the documentary JoElle. Fascinating also as a demonstration of the need--and benefits--to activity and discipline in our lives.

Loved their version the Thriller video too. bounce

... and YMCA.

Actually, they are all very good!

And the improvement is just incredible!!!

You know, I think a lot just has to do with people living up to what is expected of them and how they are treated.

A modern correctional version of "Taming of the Shrew" perhaps??

What the heck is the Hustle? I was pretty good at the Lambeth Walk back in the spring of '44. Haven't learned any new steps since then.

Dick, you're a riot.
How about the foxtrot Dick? No, it doesn't mean you take a fox out for a trot

Maybe The Hustler with Paul Newman would have some tips?

Actually, I thought Saturday Night Fever was pretty much the primer on it.
