Melinda, you're a lulu author as others here are. You signed up for this forum.

It's getting really important to know what POD and other terms in this business mean.

Nothing personal, I've just been through this before and think that if you keep on saying that being published by POD technology isn't really printed you are messing up not just your own identity, but others.

Other writers here are published on lulu. The book I promote below is about as totally self-published as any book in existance. I've sold tens of thousands of them. Where does that fit into your categories?

You are the only person I have ever, in years of being around publishing, seen refer to this "not published but printed" thing. And here you are spreading it around more on another forum.

It's not that you are not aware of this, is one of my points. The other is that it does nobody any good to crank that thing up again.

This is a good forum where you could learn a lot if you are receptive to it.

I'm sorry if you see my remarks as personal or unfriendly, I don't mean them in that way, but in the sense of trying to speak out against continuing this kind of prejudice against certain kinds of publishing.
