Had a call from Abe March this morning. He's heading home to Germany this Thursday. Abe is a wise and knowledgable man, but everybody here knows that already.

I'm back

I felt tired when I got home. I looked at my backyard and garden and felt exhausted. Now I'm having some freshments to relieve those thoughts.

Pam,
the flight path took us over Nova Scotia and yes, I thought about you.
Got up at 3 AM - jet lag kicked in. I'll have an early start at my back log of work.

So looking at the garden made you feel tired did it, how bad are you going to feel when you get round to doing it. Razz Laughing

Progress has been made. Those potato bugs have been busy and I went to war on them. As always, the weeds thrive and must be dealt with. The birds have been feasting on my cherry tree but I salvaged a bucket full. The plum and apple trees are suffering from the bugs and spraying may be too late. The beans and tomatoes are doing great and many of the beans have already been harvested. Cucumbers and Zucchini are thriving. Much of the lettuce is going to seed but there's still several great big bowls of salad to be had. The rasberries are ripe and jam is being made. The strawberries are finished - just a few straglers remaining.

Progress has helped take my mind off the weariness. I hope I have answered your question, hairymob. Thanks for asking.
