| I have two books published under the penname Olivia Brown. My publisher was PublishAmerica.com. I didn't have to pay to be published, but I don't feel that is the biggest achievement because advertising costs a fortune!
I have chosen to place book covers on certain websites and join forum groups.
What do you all do about advertising and about how much do you spend?
Currently, I am listed on the homepage of a social site called www.jobdrama.net. It was only $1 to get my book cover put there. I like it because they have members who come frequently and they get tons of return visitors. They have a forums and groups to join so I can network too.
Any suggestions on what else might work? What do you do?
Thanks

| If you read the different posts in the marketing thread on this site you'll find some creative and manageable ideas that don't cost you money. I've seen the best results from getting out and actually putting the book in front of people...unabashedly and without hesitation through readings, blogging, talking to people about it and so on. Good luck! _________________ Pam Robertson http://andthebandplayedonmylawn.blogspot.com |
