Signed a New Contract

It's official. I just signed a five book deal with my publishers at linden Bay Romance for my Darkness series!

The original book, Seducing the Darkness, a vampire book, was a single book, but when I sent it to my editor, she asked if it could be made into a series. I instantly said, yes, because I already had in mind a second story involving one of the characters from the first book. I had no idea it would end up being five books but when I started on idea's for the second book, the third came to me in a snap. But that wasn't the end.

My mind kept rolling and two more stories started coming to life. So i sent the idea's to my publisher and Editor and THEY loved them.

Books 1 and 2 are already written and book three is half finished. Tooting my horn a little here. I only started writing the second and third a month ago. When the ideas come to me I am absolutely obssessed with getting them down. And I can't wait to get started on books four and five. Plus...I alread have an idea for a sixth book. I can't write as fast as my mind wishes I could. LOL

The first books, Seducing the Darkness, will be released in July. The second in September, the third in November, forth in January 2009, and the fifth in March 2009.

I am so excited about this series and have already begun working on promo material for the series.

And thankfully the snow melts shortly after hitting the ground, but I wish it would warm up enough to melt the ice. I remember last year at this time I was outside raking up the leaves and preping my flower beds.
