I didn't want to take away from Brenda so I started this thread that is related to the thread, Exercise in Descriptions.

I remember a movie when I was in my teens where the main character was trying to explain colors to a person who had been blind from birth. For Red they placed the person's hand over a flame to feel the Hot. For pink they placed the person's hand around a warm cup of coffee. For cold it was holding ice. For white it was holding cotton balls.

That was for visual. How would you describe these in writing? Just curious.
